Sarah Connor ChroniclesOr is it 5? I can’t keep track of these things.

This week a lonely Jelly baby spoke of the trials and tribulations of being a delicious sugar coated sweet.

Daddy or Chips found my newest obsession.

Edited to remind people to pick up the Irish Times today – the Centre Fold is not to be missed.

It’s all about the new Season:-

The Sarah Connor Chronicles are back on our screens (well not our screens, but US screens, which is now really all the same thing), along with Prison Break series 4. The first episode of TSCC was excellent. I have caught up to episode 3 of Prison Break (oh yea baby – I have exams soon) and while the story line is getting a bit loose(r) it’s still a very pretty show. Surely if these guys exited they would all be living it up in the lap of luxury after a massive win on the law suit.

This week RTE endeavored to be hip and fresh in an attempt to justify the extortionate TV license fee. I am not convinced.

Messiah J & The Expert in Dublin in October and November – I think it will be Andrews Lane on 18th October for me. I’m off to get my tickets. Who’s in?

And….that’s all folks.

Are we being a tad insomniac updating this at 5am on a Saturday morning?

Or maybe you’ve just got in.

I missed TSSC on my travels, will have to give it a go. I did watch this random show called ‘Life’ in Oz last year with Damien Lewis and I want it back, it’s cheesy but in a good way.

    Also looking forward to

    Californication season 2,
    Heroes Season 3
    Pushing Daisies season 2

    I love telly

@Daddy or Chips – I think the real question is what are you doing UP at 9.20am on a Saturday morning.

@Vodoolady – I really loved Pushing Daisys – it’s such an innocent programme. Just a lovely sentiment. I am dubious about the next series of Heroes as the last one was so all over the place. Stupid writers! Currently trying to get my hands on the first episode of The Fringe.

  4. Daddy or Chips Says:

Sheesh! Even McDonalds stop serving ‘breakfast’ at 10. Get out of your lazy bed, as 80’s pospsters Matt Bianco once recommended.

  5. NaRocRoc Says:

Lottie, I see the yoink now! As you may have guessed I liked the first episode of Raw. It had its flaws, yes, and it might yet run out of steam (sorry!) but I enjoyed it. We’ll watch this space.

  6. Grren Of Eye Says:

It’s posts like this that make me wish i had a tv sometimes. Most of my viewing is tv boxsets and movies. Lottie, Is TSCC worth a watch? I’m still obsessing over the wire, the mighty boosh and arrested development

Speaking of tv, i managed to get hold of a copy of Eerie Indiana during the week.Does anyone else remember this from when they were a kid? It’s actually held up pretty well, considering it was made in 1991!!

  7. The week that was… « The Narocroc Weblog Says:

[...] seems Raw, RTÉ’s new drama, has been quite divisive. Some like it. Some don’t. Others think it’s “crappy“. And some don’t like the way snooker is [...]

  8. Lottie Says:

@Green of Eye – I was such a fan of Eerie Indiana! John Ross from Dallas , remember? Omri Katz is that right? TSCC are definitely worth a look – very surprising.

Pushing Daisies had my attention for a couple of episodes in their first season, and I don’t know for what reason I eventually got tired of it. I saw E! a few days ago and they were updating on all the new seasons of tv shows coming out soon. Gossip Girls is top on my list at the moment. Do you follow it too Lottie? I reckon it’s a version of SATC, 20 years younger :)

  10. Lottie Says:

@Karina – I am a total TV whore. I watch almost everything. I really enjoyed the 1st season of Gossip girl – much wittier and deeper than I had anticipated. And the clothes are fab. Even my BF watched it with me.

  11. voodoolady Says:

I can’t watch gossip girl, they are all too annoying.

I will never stop believing in Heroes, season 1 was too fantastic, I used to get excited watched the status bar of the download.

Arrested development…. don’t get me started, definitely on my top 10 list for best show ever.

Pushing daises was random for me, I just rented the box set one weekend when I got home from the travels and was arsing around 24/7. I like it a lot though.

Lottie, I am also a tv whore, I used to think it was a bad thing but now I revel in my wanton ways.
