A New World Order – DON’T VOTE

VOTE! I would if I could.

The McCain campaign are throwing a huff today over the amount of money that has been spent by the Obama campaign, some $300 million more than the Republicans capped expenditure. There are accusations flying that Jesus ahem Obama has bought the election and broken campaign promises be overspending.

An unofficial reportĀ  released stated that the majority of the Democratic fund-raising has been pulled from small $30/$40/$50 web donations. I wonder how much money has been donated from across the world in support of Obama. For the first time in my life time an American Presidential candidature not only has America, but the World standing hopefully behind him.

Just lets hope he gets the job done.

@T Cup – no need for niceties in her M’dear.

I like the ad – nobody listens to those boring political party announcements and this might actually get some more of the younger generations out to vote.

that was fast reply? anyway i just think those ads are very patronising (woeful spelling there!) can you imagine an irish version, though, glenda and co. ray foley has a post about the first ad on his site and he’s not very nice about it

@T Cup – I am on the buzzer this morning. Boo Glenda Gilson – I am sure she’s a lovely girl but when I hear her interviews on Expose it makes me cringe.

Only 3 days left to election fever and I really am excited. I wish I was in the US for it.

“I can do anything, I was in a boyband okay”. Brilliant. At least it’s a bit tongue in cheek and doesn’t take itself too seriously. And it does remind people of the shamness of the last election and the importance of democracy when 537 gun totin’ Jeebus loons can make the difference.

All the more reason why the popular vote should be the only vote.
