Despite huge ratings still, they set out the exact amount of episodes left.

They may not have it planned to a tee, america never does, but they have an idea.

The best example of a show making it up as it goes along is Twin Peaks, fact.

  3. Ciara Says:

    Love this :)

  4. Annie Says:

I fucking love it. Lost that is. Best programme EVAR.

  5. Anthony Says:

Lost sucks. It’s like Prison Break, it should have had a short life but when it gets successful the execs don’t wanna ditch it cos of advertising.

@B – Abrahms says that he has a definite plan all along but it has gotten very messy over the last few seasons. We have Twin Peaks series 2 on download at the moment. Series one ended so well. i can’t wait. Bob still freaks the hell out of me.

    @Annie – I don’t know about EVAR! I mean BUFFY!!!

  7. Xbox4NappyRash Says:

I have a dvd with that very same title.

    It always ends well.

Oooo, Buffy vs Lost……. that’s a tough one………….. ah no, you’re right, Buffy wins it for now. The musical episode is amazing.

    Oh the memories.

  9. Jo Says:

God, I hope they don’t do a musical ep of Lost.

I think for a while they had no clue, as they were just doing filler stories because it as so popular, to string out hte milions they were making.

I think from the last series they were back on track though. I saw an interview with, possibly the hobbit actor, Dominic thingy? Thingy Dominick?

  10. whoopsadaisy Says:

Dominick Monaghan I think Jo. I hope they know what they are doing, I’m hooked!

Twin Peaks was being made up by Lynch as it was being filmed, he’s spot a hat on the ground and make a whole show about the hat being on the ground.
Series two’s highlights are brilliant, but there’s an awful lot of sh!t throughout.

As for Lost, they’re definitely on their way to finished, in series 4 they answered roughly 10 times the amount of questions they answered in any earlier series.
Actually, you could see a huge shift in the episodes of series 3 that came after they announced the deadline.
