Something Wicked This Way Comes

Well I’ll be leaving on a jet plane in less than 18 hours for a week of fun, glamour, culture and general merriment in the Big Apple.
One of the many many high points I have to look forward to is Wicked on Broadway. I’ve waited four l-o-n-g years to go see Wicked in Manhattan, having refused to see it in the West End. I believe that this is one thing that can only work with an American accent.
I have yet to pack my bags but I managed to find time to sort my Wicked outfit already(well sort of – I can’t actually afford an Alexander McQueen jacket or Moschino pumps but my A-Wear Mini-Tux jacket and Aldo knock-offs come close enough).
So see y’all in 7 days. Try not to miss me too much.

you’ll love wicked and i have to say the west end production was absolutely amazing, they did a great job and they did put on a very good american accent. let me know how you like it

SO jealous! Wicked is so amazing on Broadway, you’ll have goosebumps as soon as you walk into the place, I can’t even begin to describe how brilliant it is, you’ll have an absolute ball. Enjoy! x

@claire – Thanks. I was a bit under the weather the last few days so I have taken today off to make sure i am feeling better. Work will be a nightmare when I return but c’est la vie.
@Darragh – Oh good questions. I’ll have to go dig out my big bird costume. And yes indeedy, the Internet is for porn. Speaking of which…

I’m seeing WICKED in New York in March. Can’t wait for your review of it and the city and to get some tips for my trip. Enjoy!

God, I’m green with envy. Manhattan is the best place on earth. Have a fab time.

So jealous! I’m back at work, as if it were all a dream! Check out the zoo if you haven’t already, and remember you can pee in any hotel you’re near, the importance of that info doesn’t become apparent until you’ve been walking NY for eight hours.
