No. I don’t. I have a talent for wishing that I could do lots of things well. Knowing a little bit of everything means you’ve no room to be master of anything. Pah!

@MJ – I think that most people are those jacks of all trades. but I seem to know an astounding amount of specifically talented people. It’s rather annoying.

Dude, I’ve got no talents either. Like, ‘real’ ones.
I’m good at some things but not great. I think it works out better.

I’d like one too.
I think I could have been a good swimmer, but the days where I would have had to have training and ambitious parents etc are long gone.
I’m a little bit arty, a little bit writery, but not so’s you’d single it out as special, sadly.
But you just never know what unexplored thing lies untapped inside you. Irish educational possibilities are pretty narrow, there’s so much you don’t find out about. As is/was our exposure to things we might be good at.
Maybe there was more opportunity for a while. Though our govt may be putting paid to any of that.

@Claire – Maybe we could rob one.
@Jo – I think a lot of talented people are restricted to that one talent and it often takes over their life. Particularly when it’s a child being driven by a parent. Maybe it’s better to have a little bit of lots of things.
Although, one of my closet friends in school was one fo the most talented people I have ever met. She could Act, Sing, dance, play instruments and she was really pretty. Why was I friends with her?
