How Could You Use a Poor Maiden So?
Posted in Blog, Music by: LottieMusic has the strangest effect on my mood. I have a number of playlists on my MP3 player. Sad. Dance. Evening. Party. Today. Muscial. Gym (ha! That one is just obsolete).
Each catagory can change my stance. The way I walk. My line of thought. Whether or not I smile back at the man at the lights or give him a look of distain for staring. My entire day.
On my “Today” list I currently have Fett’s Vette from Zach & Miri make a Porno, Imelda May’s Johnny Got A boom Boom, followed by Susan Enan’s Bring on the Wonder, then Paper Planes by MIA and Vampire Weekend’s Ottoman.
I’m a total schizophrenic today.
(A prize to the first person to get the title reference.)

From a song called “Early One Morning”… it was sung by Samantha in the TV series Bewitched! It was in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Also in Monty Python and the Holy Grail, “Early One Morning” is playing in the background at the beginning of the tale of Sir Launcelot just before his assistant is ‘mortally wounded’ with an arrow.
It also became notorious as Frank Spencer’s choice of song in the BBC comedy Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em.
So there! What’s my prize?!?

@NaRocRoc – Bravo for the Biffyy Reference. It was the song that triggers Spikes killing sprees. Did you google it or are you a big a Buffy nerd as i am?
And you prize will wing it’s way to you shortly. Once I figure out what it will be.

Lottie I’m afraid I must admit to never being a Buffy fan! Never floated my boat. Oh and I’d be lying if I said there wasn’t an element of Googleing involved in the making of that comment!

Google is your friend
Lottie, have you considered a bit of Abba maybe? Mamma Mia soundtrack perhaps? Westlife? Boyzone? Good old Take That? I can highly recommend the High School Musical soundtracks, 1, 2 & 3
Just don’t want you going all Buffy on us and slaying someone sort of thing

No joke, my dear – honest
Although I will admit that my current feel good factor thingy is doing the High School Musical dance along game on the Wii, it’s great for the upper body and I get to sing along as well
