And now I am totally Lost…
Posted in TV by: LottieIt has gone all wibbelly wobbely timey wimey and I am worn out.
Every fibre of my being is screaming to me “just walk away, leave it Lottie, just leave it”.
But the thing is, I have dedicated what, five years of my life to this? I can’t just give up now. No matter how much I might want to. Surely we can work this out.
What are we on? Series 5? After the latest episode I wonder if it just going to be another case of history repeating. Didn’t I give up on it last season? Will I be sitting here in another five years time, pulling out my hair trying to figure out what the frack is happening?
What year is it? Are they all dead? Is it purgatory? Is it just Alice in Wonderland retold? Will those crazy kids ever work it out? Is John really dead? Are any of us really alive? Is Sawyer the new Ben? No, what if he is Jack’s father? Who is Jack’s father? Didn’t yer man from Neighbours do well? Is it all some alien experiment? Or a crude reality TV show in Truman style? Is it a giant advert for American Airlines? What happened last week? Hang on, is that Michelle Desler? What would Jesus Do?
Fuck it all anyway. It still has the best love triangle square ever and I’ll still watch it next week.
At least Sawyer is still hawt!
Mmmm, Yummy!

Oh my god. How can you even think of walking away? You’ve answered your own doubts, all the uncertaintly is irrelevant in the face of such studly-muffinness.
Do you think it would be acceptable for a married woman to buy that in poster form and put it up in the bedroom?

@Tatty – Oh I love those epsiodes where he gets all diry and sweat and then it rains. Ahhhh. I think I will just have to watch the whole thing from scratch on DVD once it’s all over.
@Jo – How? Because it distresses me. I come back after watching an episode (I watch it on the sub) feeling totally brain fracked.
And Yes. I think that’s totally acceptable if not common place.

There is only this and next season to go. It’s redeemed itself completely in my view after very much losing its way at the end of Series 2 beginning of series 3.

I don’t have the patience for Lost. Is it really five years?
After watching the Wire, nothing else will do. BSG was ok, just ok but I have yet to see the last five episodes.

I gave up when they moved the island – ridiculous!

@Dan – It is most definitely better this season and seems to once more have a thread, albeit a very confusing one and Im only sticking in there on the promise that it’s one season off a conclusion.
@Holemaster – I totally agree with you on The Wire. It’s quite possibly (apart from Buffy of course) the best TV show ever made. Now why don’t they make 45kizzilion seasons of shows like that. But then maybe it’s charm is in the longing for more.
@Conortje – What? They moved the Island? …Oh yea. It’s so hard to keep track anymore. I spend the first 5 minutes of every episode driving D mad with my “huhs?” and “whats?” and How the fuck did that happens”
